A World Map of Every D&D Settings [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-22-08, 12:44 AM I found this on an old post, someone had put every D&D map of the campaign settings and placed them on an Earth sized map. For ref, check out the thread (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=683655). He said that anyone that wanted to post the map was welcome to it and I know I'd certainly like to keep this alive.

But seriously, I don't know what you'd call it, but I like the overall map structure, any way to get a bigger copy of the map, see more detail?

02-25-08, 11:22 PM This is entertaining, though it seems way too large to be of any practical use.

Plus the fact that you'd have to know everything about all the different worlds. Ha ha.

Still, it looks really cool.

02-26-08, 02:39 AM If you read the original thread, a few people started coming up with rationales for the worlds to exist like that without completely changing the face of all of the settings. One particularly cool idea involved the Overgod Ao punishing Mystara's gods by creating the Immortals and sealing Eberron off from divine intervention and contact to show the gods that they aren't anywhere near vital.

The point being, it shouldn't be hard to come up with a reason for these worlds to be isolated from each other in some way.

02-27-08, 01:32 PM Besides darksun (unless there is rationale for one part of the planet having a different sun than the rest) it's pretty cool. If the goal was just to get the landmasses together and ignore the actual settings, then darksun will fit in.
