ok, so I have a really ruff idea for a game, and I want some honest input. THe game world begins with no Arcane magic per say... Psions and Magic of Incarnum are there, but no wizard or sorcerers... IF any of you read the fluff in Book of 9 swords that is my starting place. A world were a human warrior (Flavor of word not NPC class) mastered the fighting style of all the diffrent lands, then brought them togather. But I take it a step more, and create a great empire were the Dwarves and Elves and Hobgoblins and Kobolds all have representation. I haven't done gods yet, but no druids, only clerics. 3/4 of the world is a pwerful empire that belives in goodness and equlity...this is were the game begins, with the PCs comeing from there and going aganst some of the last threats.... now for the twist there is a legend of an Armagedon beast, that will destroy the world, but first his four heralds will appear (Four horsemen) The first few levels I run in that world, but with the legend hanging over them, of the 4 hearlds ruling for 10 thousand years before the beast awakens, The first hearld rises on the other side of the world (War) and the more warlike raises go a little nuts... and the empire begins to fall apart. During this I send the PCs to the crypt of the 4th hearald (death) were they are killed (He will be a high CR monster they stand lmost no chance of beating) 10 thousand years later I res them, and they are the chosen heros to stop the coming beast... now in a strange world with many diffrences they are all alone... the change... psionics and the incarnum weakend, so only those who studdies the anctiant text can hold the power in there minds, but not as versital (wizards) the gods have stoped answering prayers so pepople prey to the spirit of the land (druids), but the PCS still have there classes... making them uniqein the world... The have to go and stop the 4 horesmen and there minions, posble rebuild the great empire, and stop on oncoming armageddon beast... kinda like the TV show Andrmeda... so what does everyone think... obviusly things have to flow around how PCs do things, and what they make, but right now this is day 2 of thinking it over any class limits I should rearange, or maybe any weird suggestions to throw in...
