| Druss_of_The_Sword06-21-07, 02:20 PM | Im having a campaign where im going to use assasins. they are going to be a group called the Hand of Wrath. but we dont know much about assasins. anyone with good ideas as to what i can do to make them a subplot of my campaign? im also a character but ive done other campaigns where i dont use my knowledge that much. so they still have fun. their first act is that they will kill my character(to further my main plot) but i want them to be a bigger part of the campaign other than OMG You killed Kerwyn!!!! |

Are the assassins going to kill a character that you are currently playing with the group? Are the players themselves supposed to turn on the character you yourself are playing? It sounds like you already have a plan for integrating the assassin's into the game. Are you looking for ways to make them a more realistic part of a campaign world, or do you actually need methods to integrate them into a larger plot? |

The word assassin comes from the name of this religious sect, you can see them as good-aligned assassins who tryed to bring order and balance making politically motivated assassinations against those who they see as impious usurpers. you can check more about it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashshashin) Actually this is one of my next campaign ideas, you can make this 'organization' or 'religious sect' type of setting. They can receive new missions or even fight against it. I took this idea from assassin's creed (a game to ps3), the images and scenario looks really cool. Hope that helps you, good luck. And sorry about the bad spelling...i am brazilian, got to learn more about english. |
