I have been using this list for a while and have all of these races written into the campaign. I just want to know if anyone thinks that anything is mechanically lacking or out of balance in my list. My campaigns start out at 3rd to 5th level. Any advice on additions/subtractions/alterations would be appreciated!

Human
Dwarf(PHB)
Kenku(MM3)
Goliath(RoS)
Lizardfolk, Greenscale(MM3)
Kobold(modified from MM, -2 Str instead of -4, no light sensitivity)
Ogre(Half-Ogre, RoD)
Shifter(MM3)
Changeling(MM3)
Orc(Half-Orc, modified from PHB, human subrace, no Int penalty, +4 to intimidate)

Big mistake to change the rules. By overpowering races you stop playing wotc dnd u just play your own game which is similar to dnd. Rule #1 what the books say goes. Create a new race yes, but still there are rules on how to do that.

p.s. sorry about my english

....what? You're kidding right?

Anyway, the list looks good, also looks like you managed some nice tweaks to some typically underpowered races to make them less so.

However, you do seem to be missing something... you'll need to add at least 30 to 70 elves and elven subraces to that list, or the United Elven Fanboy Association will be breaking into your house, stealing your DM notes, and ruining the game. Well, more than they already do.

Elves existed but were all wiped out during a war and the genocide that came with it.

Do you own Savage Species?Has a method of undepowering monsters so they're playable at 1st level.Includes notes on race creation and creating and playing non-standard PCs.RANDOM THOUGHT
