| sciguy9803-28-07, 02:17 AM | Taking a page from Oriental Adventures, I was thinking of creating a Reiatsu control skill in order to handle zanpakutou abilities. Make a Reiatsu control check each level and if you make this DC, you figured out your shikai. Something like that. Same basic idea for a Quincy. Although in terms of zanpakutou abilities, perhaps creating a table of possible effects and DC modifiers so that weaker shikai are easier to learn than powerful shikai. After all, Rukia is much stronger than *fishes for random vice-captain* Hinamori Momo, and her shikai is similarly more powerful. Also, a set of guidelines for adjudicating new abilities and DC modifiers, as well as random tables for random Shinigami. |
