Cpt. Reed 09-05-07, 08:07 PM	I'm about to start up a new campaign world and I need a format for a short pamphlet or gazetteer for my world. Boy I hope none of my players read this... Anyway, I was wondering what to include in this, I just need ideas and things. I tried to ask my players what they wanted in it and they had no idea... :mad: . Well now I need ideas. I just want to know what you think should be included and what should be skipped over. I plan on putting in a section on the people, deities and religion, some minor changes to the magic system and a couple of other things but I can't think of anything else... well thanks in advanced. :D I know I am missing things that would work.
HamHam 09-05-07, 11:57 PM	Houserules and such should I think be the obvious first step. Then fluff, specifically the sort of stuff that the average citizen of the world would know: Names and short profiles of each major known nation. Significat recent events. Geography, culture, etc. Religions, political groups, etc. One way to think of it, would be to imagine what you would include if you were going to describe to an alien what the Earth and human civilization was all about right now.
