The title is temporary until I find a name for my campaign setting, which I am building while I attempt to assemble a group.

{Insert Name Here}
Here is what I am pulling rules from, as this may influence flavor:
ToM: Binding, truenaming.
ToB
Races Books
Chaositech, but I probably will change the flavor. I don't like the whole "All this stuff is EVIL!!!" kinda thing.
Completes
Eberron (Mainly Warforged, gear, grafts, and just about the whole of magic of eberron.)
Core
PHB2
Draconomican/Dragon Magic
Planar Handbook
I am thinking that the binders and truenamers would be one nation, whose leader is both, and a prestiege class combining them.
Chaositech would be in all nations, but quite rare, as described in the book. Is there a lawful counter part I should know about?
The warforged would be creations of the binders/true-namers as their first attempt to bind a soul to a non-living body, with the components being created by them for them. Renegade Mastermakers would be the people involved in the mechanical aspect, or students of the aforementioned type.
The gods would be quite different, but for now I will keep the same names. For example:
Pelor
CG God of Sunlight
-Doesn't hate undead generally, dislikes them. Hates only light-sensitive undead as he feels they shun his gift.
-Favored Weapon: Shuriken/Annulat. The shuriken would be specialized ones that appear as suns and double as holy symbols. Annulats (?) blessed by him store sunlight so you could throw one down a corridor to light it up, or throw it at, say, a vampire and kill it.
-Domains: Sun, Chaos, Good
The aforementioned prestiege class would combine the two systems by letting you bind anything you know the truename of over the levels, with the crowning ability being able to bind aspects of the gods. (Basically, channeling the god without actually stealing its attention.) This is what I have so far. Possible ideas for other gods, any ideas on nations, heck anything is good. I would like it if someone would stat up the PrC as I have no idea of balance.

Sounds like eberron with a new pantheon, what do you need suggestions on?Variations on the Animate Objects spell?I mean if warforged are in Ebberon why not come up with something different?Perhaps a way of creating cheap golems or effigies?Maybe something like Animated Wagons that talk and move on their own?Something like "howls moving castle"?

what's the flavor of the campaign setting (high magic?).
maybe from there on you could think of ideas.

only thing i can come up with now.
it's all a bit vague.

Well, I guess it is like eberron, which I believe is high magic, but I also wanted vestieges to be major powers, with their own god, who is actually a council of vestieges. Also, sorry about the vaugeness.. this was popping into my head as I typed. If you want me to elaborate on something specifically, then just ask.

According to fiendish codex a demon can possess and animate an object with an CR equal or less to it's own.If a modron could be bound to or possess an object the same way that could give you a neutral tech?Developing tech items different than eberrons airships, warforged and lightning rails would give your world a more unique flavour? How about animated bikes similar to the bike in the movie wild, wild, west? How about a primative spelljammer ship that lands and takes off on water?Instead of warforged how about armor that increases your size by one category and adds +10 to your foot speed(this would be like MECHA).

I am keeping the warforged, how ever I am changing the flavor. Basically, the binding nation got into truenames maybe 50 years ago when they wanted to bind vestieges to artifical bodies permantly. One of the first attempts was on a metal body, and thus the first warforged was created. However, this was a failure as the vestiege could not remember anything, but insisted on having more of its people crafted.

[Nation 1: "Bindera" (Like the title)]
Bindera was founded 70 years ago, when the mediocre shaman K'zert found a new source of power, the spirits of his friends, the slaughtered poison dusk. He found a way to bind them to his body, and used their power to help him become what he was destined to: A mighty druid, ruler of a small nation.
He was adopted by, or perhaps he adopted, the poison dusk tribe. "Heroes" disturbed the poison dusk tribe, as someone died in a nearby village, and then they saw K'zert. At first, they thought he was a prisoner, and slaughtered his family of poison dusk. He cursed them with all his might, made them into the saplings which mark the poison dusk graves. He then killed himself, as he could not imagine life without his friends and family.
When he died, his friends stopped him from going to paradise, telling him he has work still to do, and they will assist him, and they dispersed, merging with what later would be known as vestiges, but before they did, they sent him back to life with their blessing. He woke up as a poison dusk, with an egg nearby. The egg later hatched into a female poison dusk, and the tribe became known again.
A year later, it was threatened by a heavy winter, and K'zert went to hunt for food, but the cold overcame him. He stumbled into the graveyard of his friends, and he fell, and his body formed an odd shape, dead center of the tress, which were planted in a circle. The trees, influenced by the poison dusk spirits, bent down, forming a circle around K'zert. The circle combined with the odd shape of his body formed a vestige seal, and bound the hunter of the old tribe to K'zert. K'zert rose with renewed vigor, and returned that night pulling a dire bear corpse.
The next night, he hunted again, and when he fell, the poison dusk shaman was summoned, and the night after that, when he woke up, he was not so hasty to move his hands. He found that he was summoning them through the circles.
He researched the long-lost art of binding, and boosted his power, bringing in what the tribe needed for food and for the traditional poison crafting. He became the leader of the tribe, and people, curious about the quick extinction and now this person performing something no one else knew brought strangers to the land. This time, they respected the poison dusk, and learned from them. They brought the secrets of metal working, and K'zert wondered,"Why not summon vestiges into artificial bodies and give them a second chance at life?" and he found he would need to learn truenaming. After 3 times of vigorous tongue as to perfect his syllables, he carved a binding seal onto a mithral sphere and spoke the truename as he pushed the orb into a metal body. The vestige lived in the body, but forgot his memories and name. The manikin (vestige in metal body) helped the poison dusk win a great war upon human oppressors who thought the art was dead for a reason, and thus became known as "Warforged." He asked for repayment in the form of more like him, to keep him company while the organics slept. And thus, warforged became a player race. :P Nowadays, K'zert has left the nation in the hands of his daughter, who is second in binding to K'zert and the ancients, as if to wander the multiverse. More recently, almost right after K'zert left 20 years ago, strange creatures appeared, and they were welcomed into the poison dusk, for they were an odd mixture of Poison Dusk and the arctic fox native to the land. They call themselves the Arctic Rose tribe, after a poison they have developed, which they apply to their claws. Their highly-successful soldiers, known as Thorns, seem to be made of the arctic rose plant itself.

The best way to bump a thread is to add material to it ?You have a sun god, have you considered adding wargod, god of magic,chief/ruler of deities?Since your pantheon is going to be distinctive compared to you mix-n-match technomagic you should carefully consider how many deities you have? The magic AMULETS sound okay.

Are you talking about the favored weapon? It is annulat, and it is in Planar Handbook. But the rest was a good idea that I will quickly add upon.
"Boccob" God of Magic CE
Favored Weapon: Dagger/Xbow
Domains: Magic, Chaos, Evil, Knowledge.
Actually hates magic, seeing as he commited suicide with it, as he was a master wizard/dracolich and was tired of (un)life. However, the gods figured that he was almost magic incarnate, so made him a god. So he is ****** off at them and plans to kill them all.
"Hextor/Heironeous"*LE/CG, god of pacifists and barbarians. Favored Weapon: Two Headed Flail for the both, and Longbow for Hextor.
Domains: War, Protection, Destruction, Healing.
These two brothers are actually the same person, who thought,"Hey, I'll get twice as many followers if I pretend to be 2 gods, and therefore, twice as much power." His idea was flawed, for though he did have twce as many followers, the power went to separating them. They are currently joined at the waist.
*Follower's of this god may be of any alignment, adopting different elements of each philosophy.

Jeez, I did forget the weapons, but is the fluff too necessary? Holy Symbol, yes. Favorite color, don't think so.

What color robes do the priestesses of SEKOLAH wear? What color robes do the preists of KURTLEMAK wear? What direction does a temple of pelor face and what color is it?What animal is KORD most commonly associated with? What animal is most commonly sacrificed to ZEUS?These are all questions a D+D veteran can answer.

Temples of pelor face the dawn, usually east and are white and gold. Kord associated with the bull or horse. I think bulls but not sure. Zeus..... I wanna say the bull, but in the back of my mind I know that was posiedon. Is it the boar? How did I do? And K'zert has a cool backstory.

And K'zert and taradious I'd say favorite weapon, animal, clothing, sacrafice, and domain spells. Color, I geuss..... I mean there's immportant stuff and then there's going to far like knowing there favorite time of day.

Are we going to see more of this campaign setting? I am especially interested in seeing more about the setting's gods. Perhaps the setting equivalents of more of the Core gods?
