Its a fairly traditional world (in terms of races, the world itself takes place on floating islands populated by the "goodly races" while the surface world is monster infested). I've made some definite changes to planetouched. Tieflings are the results of demonic experimentation on mortals. They are the children of the Fel-bloods (Half Fiends), which are humanoids corrupted by torture and infusions of demonic energy. Tieflings are absolutely dedicated to the Ancient Ones (the evil gods). They are a fairly major enemy at this point in the game. Aasimars are actually semi-divine creatures created by one of the Paragons (the good gods) to serve as a mortal vessel. Because of the majority of their followers being wiped out in the past, gods can do very little to intervene and cannot create more powerful servants. Thus, Aasiamars are created and sent to the world to complete a task (usually fairly complex). After this goal is completed, they stop existing. This allows the sliver of divine energy to return to the deity. So, what do ya think? |

One I used was something called an Elemental Born, basically its an elemental infused in a fetus, or very young child, that affects them as they grow to adult-hood. Said infusion is done by a corrupt elementalist(in the default setting, where the players are elementals its just another elementalist who dabbles in the darker arts. Same thing with animals being involved as far as they are concerned. And demon summoners, while they find them despicable, are viewed as better simply because it is someone else getting summoned) |
