| wordartist17912-01-07, 11:55 AM | I'm still relatively new to these posts, so I may have missed something similar to this. I'm planning on running a somewhat Heroes/X-men based game. It would be D&D classes and races with D20 Modern and D&D equipment and D20 Modern wealth to reflect credit and mortgage type financial stuff. It would be set in a larger city, maybe Chicago, New York, Atlanta, etc. Each PC would be a super hero similar to Green Arrow to Wolverine to Dr. Strange to Storm to Domino. They would be somewhat used to their powers, but they would obviously still be developing as they leveled up. I was wondering if anyone had tried to start something similar, whether in terms of superheroes or a D&D/D20 Modern mash-up. Any help/suggestions/criticisms/ideas would be welcome. |

If you are really sold on using D&D rules fair enough, but you can actually download D20 rules stuff for free on this site. I'm pretty sure people in those D20 Modern/Future forums have had discussions about superhero type games. |

I think the name had something to do with Phoenix. Go to the Modern board and either use the search option, or if you can't find it post a thread asking about it. It was a pretty good system last I checked. |

I did find a thread about Marvel heroes, but they were using Modern classes. I'm still set on using the D&D classes. |
