My problem is that they'll be done recovering the third of his books soon, and I'd really like to lead up to some sort of showdown with demonic forces, crazed cultists, whatever. Any suggestion of modules to look into? Any ideas would be helpful. |

After all, a showdown for a 10th level party will be a lot different in even concept from the showdown of a 20th level party. Assuming it is pretty high level stuff... The BBEG has captured a town/city/village and {is going to/already has} sacrifice{d} the townsfolk to complete the ancient sacred ritual of Yada-Yada so that he can create a "bubble" of the Abyss on the Prime Material. Naturally once it arrives on the Prime it will begin expanding. Also it is still connected to the Abyss as a whole. This could lead to very annoying fights where the PCs are standing "outside" the Abyss region, kill a Demon that is working for the BBEG, only to have it die and respawn a few feet away inside the Abyssal region. (Where once killed it would be dead forever) |
