| Ironfisted Tyrant04-13-07, 04:09 PM | Does anyone know of any good guidelines for determining regional populations? I'm been trying to figure out how best to set populations for regions, countries, and whatnot in my homebrew campaign, and I want to be sure the numbers I use are believable, rather than something completely off-the-wall. |

| Jisho04-13-07, 05:49 PM | check this out: http://www.io.com/~sjohn/demog.htm. Its a pretty in-depth article about medieval demographics designed for fantasy world building, and has links to several calculators at the bottom. |

It includes things like percentages of magical based creations as well as city layouts and the like. |
