It dealt with "building dieties" and how Divine Power is so much more potent than anything any "mere mortal" can do.

While a Godling and low ranking Demi-Gods could be "enemies", your typical "God or Goddess" was just so much more powerful.

I had the book, loaned it out years ago and now I'm redoing my "gods" in my world. All gods now in my world are "godlings" but one is making it to Demi-Godhood with a portfolio of Evil and Destruction.

The party, from a different reality, has found other godlings to worship who are trying to prevent that and they are trying to get stop this maniac.
