| poopmouth18710-01-07, 10:00 PM | My friend has a frostburn book and we've wanted to play it for a while but now i think we are. I was thinking about making an Uldra druid. So i was wondering if they are any fun (frostburn and Uldra druid). |

I didn't like a number of things about Frostburn. Most notably would have to be the Neanderthal race, which I felt was poorly constructed mechanically and offensive to the human lineage as an anthropologist. I mean, come on. There are some other things that I can nitpick about it, but if you're looking for a cold campaign infusion, I don't think you'd generally want to look elsewhere for one. Its not just something I'd use, |

I tend to ignore the new races, they just seem filler to me (plus who needs frost elves, damn elves they breed like rabbits). I find the first chapter the best. Getting rules about the cold environment and equipment to survive temperature bands really helped me give a sense of danger when out in the cold wilderness. |

I do like the Environmental Books because they provide a mini-Monster Manual full of monsters that are tailor made for the book's environs. Also the section expanding what actually happens in the particular environs is always helpful (I know Sandstorm's was :D ) |
