| Tarrius01-24-07, 12:58 PM | So my two best friends and I have all read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and all of us have fallen in love with it. We've always wanted to play as gunslingers in D&D but the opportunity has never really come up. The other day, one of them created a class based off of Mordred, as I'm sure if you've read the whole series, you're familiar with. This got the two of us to thinking, and over the course of about 8 hours I think we've laid the groundwork for a full campaign setting with new races, new classes/PrC's, an entire world, a full set of monsters, and a new magic system based off of the Touch. Obviously this won't adhere word for word to the Dark Tower book series, but it is heavily inspired by it. Our plan is to pretty much create a campaign setting that does not have the traditional races, classes, or magic system that D&D does. I'm simply trying to gauge the interest in who all would be possibly interested in such a campaign setting. |
