yellowdingo 08-21-07, 04:45 AM	So D&D 4th Ed. is emerging from the insidious mists of Evil that is WOTC. Now how about a Entirely New Campaign World just for Edition 4? What sort of World should it be? Any Ideas?
ElvenOutlaw 08-21-07, 09:33 AM	A world where the lands and geography shift and move every 4-5 years forcing the people that live there to rename the continents and rebuild even with the most minor changes. This keeps most of the lower class and general population poor. The world is run by a group "the Wiz", a religious like group that spread dogma and lies that the ever shifting world they live in is a good thing. It is a evolution of the planet. Their holy symbol, called "The Glee" is a glowing green brain like shaped stone. Little do most of the people know that is actually the Wiz and their magicks, mixed with ancient technologies stolen long ago, that move the land masses. With the newest land shift ,word of a new caste like system being forced upon them has spread. The Wiz deem they should all fit into more clearly defined roles. No longer will these people be allowed to freely pick and choose their skills or how they will progress their roles through life. Genocide of one of the smaller races has also been whispered among the people. This along with the rumor of the rise in power of a demon-blooded half race does not settle well with many. What will become of the people of Four-ey? Only time will tell. (( I was bored. It's a joke. Deal ))

Over the years, each DM created his own "home-brew" campaign world. Then we got the idea to toss it all together, and build a WORLD. This should eventually sound pretty interesting... :cool: As for a Core new 4e world? Well, what about expanding Eberron? Forgotten Realms worked for over than 30 years, I can't believe we would toss Eberron to the garbages after only 5 years!

I know its not an Official world but it fits your idea. 3.5 based now, but when 4.0 hits I would think it would move to that set of rules. http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=909963
