I need ideas for a adventure set in the demiplane of Green Light. The idea is that the quasiplane of Radiance has seven demiplanes tied to it, each one associated with a color of the rainbow. This is mostly to create an alien environment to my players.

A city is floating in he plane of Green Light. This city borders the demiplane of shadow. Half the city is set in the plane of GL and the other half in the shadow plane. Both half of the city are lke opposites of each other.

My players will arrive in the GL part of the city. My players need to get some info in a temple of Ghaunador. That info tells where they can find an old artifact tied to the elements. The cult of Ghaunador is engaged in a battle against he cult of Juiblex, over control of the sahdowy part of the city.

In the GL part of the city, my players will find a informant, a Cour eladrin. That informant used to be part of an organisation that the PCs are also a part of.

This is what I have and I need much more. Please no Green Lantern jokes or if you must, atleast leave some constructive info :) .

Thanks.

Is there also a Red Light district in the town? I'm sorry, couldn't help myself. But it wasn't a green lantern joke at least.

I like it. After all it's cozy green light - what's not to like? Btw, what level are the PCs? It's hard to give specifics without this knowledge. How about there are lots of shadows living on the shadow demiplane, and the PC's organization must seek a temporary allegiance with them to accomplish... whatever it is they want to accomplish?

Perhaps you can use the "Emerald City of Oz" as an inspiration. Green glass and emeralds would be prominent in the city. Varying shades of green and even "green fire" would be obvious.

Through in some green slimes for kicks. Although, in a "Green Light" plane, would they be in effect "invisible?"

Any idea about what a different color light can do?:

- it changes colors of things.
- can affect life somehow(radiactive spiders as a sample).
- Certain things can be invisible (camouflage)

Now going wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green):

-Several minerals have a green color, including the emerald, which is colored green by its chromium content.

-By far the largest contributor to green in nature is chlorophyll

-Islam, for example, venerates the color, as it expects paradise to be full of lush greenery.

-Culturally, it is also associated with growth, regeneration, fertility and rebirth for its connections to nature.

- It is often used to describe foliage and the sea, and has become a symbol of environmentalism

- In heraldry, green is called vert (French for “green”). Fourteenth century documents describe vert as a symbol of “jolliness and youth, but also of beauty and shame” as well as of death.

-Green is used to symbolically represent the fourth, heart chakra (Anahata) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anahata)

So till now it sounds like this place must be a nature oriented paradise were longevity, and good health are abundant.

Thanks Angel Black, your info will really help to create a atmosphere for the city, and it will be very different from the shadow district. It will be a city full of life and plants, healthy population, building made of green materials, people having expression

The Red Light district is a very good joke Hovnarr :D , red being the opposite color of green (or something like that).

My PCs are level 14 by the way, so if anybody has info, plot wise, incounters or what ever, I would really appreciate it :) .

You could have the parts of the city where the shadow creatures live be the Red Light district, with all that would entail; buildings etc. would look black because the green and red light together would make a blackish hue; if the PCs could somehow "filter in" regular light, they would get the Red Light district joke, but otherwise the juxtaposition would probably weird them out.
