I have a campaign setting I've been working on. Is this where I should post it to get feedback?

Yup, this is the right thread on the WotC forums. I also recommend putting it up on other world-building sites to get feedback there, such as the Campaign Builders' Guild (http://www.thecbg.org/news.php), Giant in the Playground (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/), and Eruvian (http://eruvian.com/default.asp). Their formats vary somewhat, but all are good places to get feedback.

Yes, you've come to the right place.

Is there a specific format I should follow for easier legibility or should I just post my setting however and stop asking stupid questions?

There's no specific format. Just remember that the more legible (i.e. abstain from long, paragraphless blocks of text) your work is, the more likely you are to get readers and thus comments.

As a general indicator, try to stick to one topic per post (i.e. one post for the city of Xville, one for the elves in your setting, one for the internationally renowned previous band of heroes, etc.), arranged thematically, instead of just dumping it all in one horrible mish-mash of unformated ideas. Oh, and stick to a single thread.

One last bit of advice:

Be patient when it comes to responses. Just speaking from personal experience, it can sometimes feel like talking to a brick wall around these parts :banghead:. Post anyway, and hopefully people will drop by to say they enjoy your work. I sure wish this particular forum got more traffic (beyond the Lords of Creation and similar threads, that is) :).
