| Lujayne3403-01-07, 07:36 PM | I have a basic idea that I want to share here and ask for input on how to bring it together. The idea is to combine Native American (idealized not fully hitorical) culture and a roughly Celtic culture into a campaign world. The world would also have the traditional allies of humankind: elves, dwarves, gnomes, and halflings. I would also like to include monstrous humanoids like orcs, or goblinoids, giants, fey, and some other magical creatures etc. Any suggestions on how to put this together? |

Take the idea of a spirit realm from the Manual of the Planes (page 206) and use that to explain the Native AMerican ideas. Make the other humanoid races more enigmatic and aloof from the humans. I would also have many of the humans be kind of like druids or clerics, because of the celtic and Native American influences. Those are my two cents. I hope they at least spark ideas. |
