It is from your line that the gods of others were outcast and the Bastard races spawned. Your Ancestors plotted the downfall of the Ancients, and granted freedom to their secrets and dreams. The Legends of others are your family history. When they stole fire from the Gods, came away with the Arts of Magic, and discovered the secret of Bronze and Steel, it was from your family that they learned. Pure Human: Though your abilities are that of a Human, your line carries a few advantages. Wisdom carries a Bonus of +1. Skills: You can develop any skill in utter isolation of a teacher yet there is cost. You will begin that skill as though it were cross-class. If you learn the crafts from one of your own, it is learned at no cost, yet there risks. Feats: Not every feat is available to your family line. There is a reason that some are outcast from your tribe. There are some things that will only destroy and enslave your tribe, The Cleric and Druid Meta-magic feats amongst them. There are three feats that only your tribe knows. Sense Outcast: This Feat is available at first level. It grants the individual the active ability to sense and identify any outcast of the tribe. Shun Outcast: Available to any member of the tribe over ninth level of what ever class you would be, it requires a specific ceremony to be undertake by three tribe members minimum. Its use may cause another member of the tribe who has transgressed the laws and obligations to become an Outcast of the tribe. Race Memory: Available at the twentieth level, Race Memory is the ability to search for knowledge beyond your immediate experiences. This knowledge comes from every member of the tribe from the beginning to the end of time. You may identify any of the Ancients or their secrets by sight. Classes: Those who choose to become Clerics (of the Ancients or Outcasts Gods) or Druids are banished without regard for who they are. Your family must remain subservient to none, or once again you may find your soul shackled and bound in Slavery. Those of your tribe who would be Magic-users must develop their own spells and must always take Spell Mastery to remember them. Taboos: You can never look upon an artefact of the Gods, touch a device of clerical or druid crafting, nor associate with identified Outcasts. |
