Okay, I'll try...

I'm currently developing my own campaign world, "Lornan." I need help and suggestions, though, because I don't know if I can balance and fix eery issue that might come out.
Since English is not my mother tongue, I'll translate what I've already done, but it might take some time. In the meanwhile, if you are interested, I'll post here some of the basic points of the setting.

The world has been created by a great, ancient dragon-god, Lornan;
Lornan created many powerful, god-like dragons, who modeled the universe to their whim;
There are almost no planes at all: the planet is the body of the dragon-god, the sun is composed by his spirit and the souls of all those who die on Lornan, and there are planets and asteroids instead of planes;
one of the major events has been the fall of a trail of negative energy asteroids, which created a generation of undead sentient creatures;
The dragon who gave sentience (sp?) to the main races also gave them a spark of his power in the form of magic and psionics: thus, virtually anybody can use magic and psionics;
Accessing to the inner magic is hard, though, and only gifted individuals or scholars can do it the right way;
Elder, supernatural beings live outside the "main" dimension, operating through a few individuals who can contact them;
Alchemy is a form of "everyday magic," which let people develop a simple form of technology;

So far, I've created all the base races, some of the main classes, some feats and some flaws. I plan to insert a lot of character options, like transformational classes, alternative class features and racial substitution levels, to let gamers customize their characters as much as possible.
If you are interested, I can translate and post the first parts of my setting!

Cosmology

In the beginning, the universe was only void; an infinite, amorphous heap of shapeless matter, filled with the spirit of Lornan.
Then, Lornan wished to shape the formless matter, and began creating stars and planets.
He shaped in this way a big portion of the universe, but stopped when he felt something was missing: he felt alone. He ackowledged he was a lone god.
Thus, he took some of the remaining matter and made the first Dragons, his 103 sons. They were given a spark of his great power, big enough to create and give birth to whatever they wanted.
Time passed, and Lornan grew even greater and powerful. He got old, and, seeing his wish fulfilled by his great sons, he decided to leave the universe. He curled up and wished to die, but his will was so immensely powerful that his spirit left the dead body and became a big star.
Lornan's sons at first mourned the death of their father, but then began commemorating him: his body was transformed and became a planet. They created water and air on it, and started diffusing life as they desired.
One of his children, Ful, was not satisfied, though. He felt Lornan, as a planet, was still missing something important. So he descended on it and went searching for something: intelligent life.
Ful found nothing. Thus, in a joyful expression of his power and pride, he took four apes and mutated them as he wished, thus creating the first four races: the Elves, imbued with a great portion of his magic, the Dwarves, a mix of stone and flesh, the Humans, gifted with the greatest will, and the Greenskins, infused with the power of dragons. Not yet happy, he took a snake, an ox and a tree and fused them, creating the first Corian.
His destiny now fulfilled, Ful left the planet, to let the five races spread and develop.

These are the creation myths of Lornan, and these are the main five races of the world. The others are not yet defined, but they weren't created by Ful. I also have a race that I don't know whether to insert or not, since they might not be so player-friendly...

Divine magic
Since Lornan is a dead/dormant god, he doesn't answer his followers' prayers; thus, divine magic does not exist on Lornan, though some classes, such as the Gifteds and the Soulcallers, are able to accomplish tasks similar to those of the standard D&D Clerics and similar classes.

Arcane magic
There are three ways to cast arcane spells: Mages study in academies, Gifteds use their inner connection to Lornan to cast arcane and "divine" spells and others use the Stardust, a powerful drug that lets people cast spells. But arcane magic is a consumptive one, and those who try to use it without caring for its limits might face dire consequences...

Psionics
Among the gift of arcane magic, Ful imbued its creations with his willpower, giving them the possibility to use their mind as a font of power. Many psions, soulknives and the like strive among the people of Lornan.

Alchemy
Being magic a little bit hard to control, many have developed another way to create its effects: alchemy. Alchemy let Lornanians develop a simple technology that replicates some modern objects through the means of little magic (like batteries). This has led to the creation of interesting products, such as the Aeros, sort of zeppelins which are the main means of transport through the continents.

Races of Lornan

Humans: Humans are the most industrious, versatile and clever race on Lornan. They can be found almost everywhere, from the ice-cold tundra of the northern Amelos to the hot and dry Sea of Sand in Corenand, and can fill any role in every society.

Dwarves: Dwarves have been created fusing flesh and stone, and thus they carry the hardness of rock within themselves. They are hard to harm, steady and quiet. They usually live in underground cities, mostly in the continent of Amelos, where they have created a complicated network of cities and caves, along with Goblins and Kobolds.

Elves: Magic flows easier within Elves than in the other races. They are lithe and just a little shorter than Humans, and their facial features are really hard and prominent. They are usually passionate and bold, but they try to hide this side of their personality when facing non-Elves.

Greenskin: Strong and tall, the Greenskins are a very proud race. They know how to use their strength, and, over all, when to use it. They are very pragmatic, and favor straight-forward reasoning over complicated philosophies. They have a fondness for highly hierarchical societies, in which they see order and cleaniness.

Corian: The sight of a Corian can be pretty unsettling: their head and torso look like those of a snake, their legs are like those of an ox and their bellies and backs are covered in thick cork. Due to the manipulation that led to their creation, they almost cannot use magic, but are great warriors and leaders.

Majasites: When the first Soulcaller Majah died, his spirit has been infused within its spawn, causing them to evolve at a greater speed. This led to the creation of Majasites, a race of powerful beings with a deep connection to the sea and the spirit of its creatures.

Legionaries: When the dark, negative energy asteroids fell on Lornan, they caused the rise of the sentient undead known has Legionaries. They are sentient and keep a resemblance of the look they had in their past life, though they can recall very little of this life.

Planetspawn: Alienists are bound to metaphysical pacts to the entities they contact. But sometimes this pact has a greater impact on their life, changing forever their DNA; this mutation can pass to their offspring, giving birth to the alien Planetspawn.

I had a last race, but I chose not to use it as a playable race, since I believe nobody would play it.
I also developed a system that can let players and DMs create hybrid PCs and NPCs, with parents among the first four races.

The Flight of Dragons
During the ages, the Dragons on Lornan, sons and daughters of his own sons and daughters, evolved physically and mentally to a stage of complete perfection. Thinking that nothing could ever stimulate their curiosity on the planet, they gathered in great masses and flew away to explore the wide universe.
At the present day, just a bunch of them still live on Lornan, protecting the planet and the life on it.

Majah's death ("official" year 0 of the Lorn calendar)
Majah has been the first and greatest Soulcaller of all Lornan. Born from a poor family, his father was a humble fisherman, and Majah spent part of his life with him, learning almost everything his old father had to teach him about the sea and its dwellers.
At the age of 24, he left his family to follow the indications of the first soul that he unconsciously channeled from Lornan's spirit, and became the first Soulcaller.
He died at the age of 53 defending his village: he channeled so many souls that his own body and spirit couldn't bear them, and this destroyed him, as well as the attackers. His spirit, though, passed to the children of the next generation of the villagers, and became the ancestors of all Majasites.

The rise of the Legionaries (year 1124 AMD)
Along with all the planets, there's a wide negative energy asteroid field in the Lornanian system. In the year 1124, some of them modified their path, impacting on the planet.
This caused a massive release of negative nergy, which caused the rise of all the nearby dead. Many of them still recollected something of their previous lives, and were completely sentient.
Nobody knew what to do with them, and many still struggle against the hatred somebody still feels for them.
