Hey everyone, first time actually trying to create my own campaign, and having a few problems. One of the things I am planning is to have a nation of mages. I had a bit of a problem with the capital. I was thinking of maybe having a single tower, as neutral grounds for the mage's council to meet, instead of having an actual capital city. What do you all think?

Doable, might want to think about how they supply the tower, though. Arcane mages aren't known for having create food and water on hand. Either we are talking extradimensional rooms here or there has to be some sort of support system. Maybe have all the service levels and servant quarters in underground levels?

I probably should have clarified, but the tower-capital is just the metting place, each mage is the lord of a town, and they meet at the tower only when they need to discuss political matters and the like.

You would still need a staff at hand and ample suppiles for everyone to be there. Look at the Stronghold Builders Guidebook.
