ptj2500 03-23-08, 04:00 PM	hey i need a little help to a homebrew an adventure mostly (ran out of ideas after my 7th wipe or so i know i shouldnt do but it just happens:embarrass ) well as it is now they are a doppelganger swashbukler, a kobold natural weresnake sorcerer and a lizardfolk hexblade they have 8th level xp so its a little up and down with levels hope you can help:)

DarthCestual 03-24-08, 10:58 PM	Every year at the summer equinox, the peoples of the swamplands pay tribute to the great and powerful dragon-turtle Ghammorrax by serving her a roast dire hippo. This year while preparing the meal, a roc swooped off with their tribute. With less than a week before the equinox, 3 champions are chosen, one from each of the villages of the swamps, to obtain a fresh one post-haste! Time is against them, as it takes 2 days to properly prepare the feast to Ghammorrax's liking, and the river in which the dire hippos can be found is a day's journey on foot. They'd best hurry as their homes and families are at stake!
ptj2500 03-26-08, 02:49 AM	hey i like the idea of the hippo DarthCestual am i right about a dire hippo is in mm2 or something like that? only got mm1 for the purpose of monster so if you could get me some fighting stats for it that would be nice
DarthCestual 03-28-08, 06:35 AM	I just pulled "hippo" out of the air and because it sounded like something that could be near a swamp. I'm clueless on it's stats, lol.

Hellsbells 03-30-08, 08:30 PM	I recomend using a bull or rhino and just change it as appropriat (for example swim and bite instead of horn, etc.) I can also check with my monster makers if they have hippos.
ptj2500 04-09-08, 01:44 AM	sorry about i haventh anwserred the last couple of weeks i were really busy. and i tried the idea and it ended up being a dire lion the dragon turtle had and a little later after the celebrations for them was over they left the villages to allmost getting killed by a bonedrinker (mm3) :angelhide
