| BlackBladeJimmy08-08-07, 05:13 PM | I'm working on a new setting for a magic-centric campaign that takes place mostly in and around a mage academy. What I want to know is if there are any large castles or similar buildings already that I could use as a baseline for map construction and spacing. I've been looking at Castle Ravenloft, but it almost seems too small for the amount of people that will be there the majority of the time. Any advice? BBJ |

Maybe I could have the heart of the place stay the same, such as dorms and the great hall and all, but the classrooms, labs, library, hallways, etc would all shift from day to day due to the excessive use of magic in the place. This has some real possibilities...:plotting: Thanks for the idea Dan, the PCs are gonna love it, especially seeing as one player is practically obsessed with mapping, this is the ultimate challenge for her.
