| guesswhat1232109-15-07, 02:17 AM | My group I play with Favors Combat and doing really weird/nifty things in combat and with their characters so I was going to make a gladiator/Hired Merc style campaign for them, though when I start spinning a story from head to toe they get really into it also and follow the basic path I would like them to with out me telling them so they get to hear what happens next. The only thing is I dont really know how I can put this into a story for them. I was going to start them off in a pit arena fight and then have then hired to go out and "battle" some team far off and beat them, in doing so uncovering that somthing dirty is going on behind the matchs. Such as a drug lord magicly enchanted the arenas to extract liquid pain from the participants and selling it. Then they have to figure that out and stop it all the while they end up getting a small keep and an area of land with a VERY small number of people on it that they must protect and help grow by fighting off the creatures and other arena teams that come though the town. Also having to bring people to the city to grow and raise reknown though the matchs. wow I just started thinking of all that while typeing... but I am still not all that sure on how to compleatly make them love the whole idea because the parts of them governing their small town would help me bring a story around and form it to how they go about in there lives and bring lots of fights but it might also bore them a little or they loose interest in the town and give me imagination block. So after typeing all this anyone have any good ideas or suggestions? |
