Basic Description: This is a moon orbiting a nice little campaign world. The moon is a barren surface that achieves terrible temperature swings during day and night. The world is pockmarked with craters where alien forests and life-friendly climates function but these are deep pits populated by mostly non-human cultures, linked below the surface by extensive networks of caves and caverns. History: The moon showed up in orbit around this new world a few millenia back but its orbit is unstable at best and is slowly disintergrating under the gravitational forces of the world it is orbiting. As a consequence new craters form every so often when a volcanic eruption surges to the surface. Mapping the Moon: The Moon is to be mapped on the surface of a 20 sided dice. Each triangular facet is one thousand miles to a side. Within that triangle, there is a map grid of smaller triangles with 125 miles per side. Adventuring there: The idea is to adventure in a small 125 mile sided area and slowly map the region. Eventually it is hoped that you will place your small map on this thread. Enjoy.
