ThorDiantral 09-08-07, 12:40 PM	My girlfriend, my PLP, his girlfriend and I have started playing DnD. I've played before online and with another friend. They, however, are new to it. Last night I ran them through the first 2 encounters in the Basic Game. I turned Regdar into a DMPC, a fighter with mental stats of 5 for all social interactions, who was hired by the group to defend them. Even though the first room took them 9 rounds and about an hour, they got the hang of it when the next encounter rolled around. With the experience under their belts, it should take only about 3 hours to finish the 3 other encounters. My question is this, what should i run after the basic game? Should they keep their characters? Should I keep a DMPC to help them out? Any help would be lovely, whether it be personal experiences, suggesting published adventures or even just suggesting an interesting encounter to run them through. Thanks very much, Thor
