A world where the old and new clash, struggles exist between the past and the potential future. Will you rely on the traditions of old or the revelations of new?

Otia is comparable to your standard high-magic fantasy realm. It holds several different nations and areas, all of which cater to different cultures and societies. Nuella is a great European-like middle ages kingdom, where Calim is a large empire similar to Rome. Reem holds many different city-states that each support a different god. With such a world there are your standard struggles of good and evil and angry monsters. However, it is the deities that go to war against themselves that reflect the internal arguments of the mortal nations. It is a planet sided between revolution and heritage. As a new age of technology and magic dawns, who will embrace it and who will shun it?

Alright, so, that's a short, short summary of a campaign world I've been working on for about a year now. I'm posting this here so that I can maybe get some help or at least some feed back on ideas that I'm toying around with or on things that I've already done and maybe some support in the setting.

Magic is a major thing in this campaign, as the world itself was created by the oversplash of two gods' magical fight. I've made an item called Sonlara Stones that a spell can be stored into them and then used by anyone (no check needed), but it only contains one spell and you must put another in it once used. The stones also come in much more powerful variety, but I've not designed those yet and plan on them being semi-intelligent beings or like giant batteries for magic things (or both).

There's also Sonlara Marks, which manifest themselves on a person who's been in an area of high magic for a long period of time (like many years). Really, it's more relative in that sense and it's much easier for a child to get a mark because by the time you're an adult your body has created a sort of resistance to the natural magics that would change your body.

There's much more, and I've started a wikispace to put it all up on. Check it out, Otian Legacies Wiki (http://otianlegacies.wikispaces.com/).

So please, take a look at the wiki and let me know what you think.
