Pirate Campaign [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-16-07, 06:19 PM I'm setting my players up on a Piraty YAR adventure. I want to get things as correct as possible as far as the ship, number of crew members, and where everthing is on the ship (for planned ship infiltration). I can go through and design it, however to make things a bit quicker and more official (my drawings include lots of stick figures so yeah :P) does anyone know where any good freebie schematics/blueprints/deckplans are?

04-17-07, 03:44 AM You might also try Elric! and the Conan D20 Buccaneers sourcebook, both of which have good drawings of ships and ideas about crews, pirates and so on.

04-17-07, 05:04 PM i attempted to get a Pirate Campaign up and 'floating' last year. sadly my attempt sank... i believe that i still have some of my pirate info saved in my e-mail however. if you'd like me to share it i'd be quite happy to do so, just let me know.

Hah! I just might do that, now if i could find some gridded shoeboxes I could use it for actual ship combat!

04-18-07, 11:57 AM Bear in mind that those instructions are actually for making a pirate ship that's big enough for kids to play in! You might want to scale it down a bit if you plan to use miniatures instead of children.
