| Dreamender10-26-07, 04:06 AM | Brainstorming for a new campaign I'll be starting soon, and I wanted to bounce a few ideas around with other DM's... I was thinking about starting a campaign in a huge underground prison, doing sort of a reverse dungeon crawl to escape it. Afterwards the PC's are hounded and cased by the law enforcement, and then having it then hopefully unfold into a epic saga where the "bad guy" PC's turn out to be heros saving the masses. Had this idea after reading David Gemmels book: Knights of Dark Renown. Thoughts? |

The low level adventure was being prisoner of goblins and the players could first pick up bones, small stones, and use their breach cloths to make slings. Higher level adventures required more work and thinking to escape. |

They might find victims who have been vampirized or some such thing. This might bear similarity to things happening on the surface. 2. They might fall in with or encounter a group of outlaws and exiles who might be able to help them. 3. They might as taradusis suggested start out with almost nothing but find certain magical items of legend as the adventure progresses. |
