a) Feel free to make any comments or suggestions.
b) This is the post character creation version of my Campaign Pack, as suggested in the DMGII, it includes some house rules - but I thought as it was a mix of the two belonged better here. The pre-character creation omits Feats and Clans (the bulk of this matieral), but notes that new feats will be available to PHB races and specifies Elite Array for stat generation.
c) Those parts of the text that don't reference other parts of the text stand alone, those that do need the other part included to make sense
d) What should I make the Non-Legacy stats for Darkblight - I want an item that includes Darkness that is suitable for becoming a Legacy item.

Feats - New

Clan Feats - These feats require you to belong to a specific clan. Each of the pre-existing families belongs to a Clan that bears there name. If your not of one of these families, discuss your vision for your family with me so I can assign an appropriate clan. They generally provide a second class you can treat like your favoured class with regard to multiclassing penalties.

Brewing Feats - A sub-set of Item Creation feats relating to the Brewing of Potion variants, Brew Potion is now a Brewing Feat.

Alignment Feats - Some feats presented here have alignments, generally you cannot take a feat of opposed alignment to yourself and you register as the alignment of the feat to detection spells. You also cannot take Feats of opposing alignments.

You gain the power of good fortune, 2/day (as the Luck Domain granted power - except that it is a Supernatural, rather than an Extraordinary ability - this stacks with the 1/day Ex use you gain from the luck domain), and can ignore Cleric levels for the purpose of determining multi-class penalties.

There will also be a Nachtmann Heir feat at some point - but as it’s NPC only I won’t detail it here yet.

Basic Plot:
Psionics is dead, but those with inborn Psionics have discovered they have access to another source of pseudo-magic and the Soulknifes have discovered that this power lets them tap their Soulknife.
A second plot will revolve around the coming of the first vestige.

Your character either has a reason to investigate the disappearance of Psionics or a vested interest in it’s restoration. Some of the vestige related storyline will be out of your control

Ritual: Evil Turned Upon Itself: In the almost constant wars between the Darkblight clan and the Daggeredge clan, the Dagger now known as Daggeredge was origianlly an ornamental sacrificial knife of the Darkblight Clan. One day, when a visiting High Priest was offered the right of sacrificing the Daggeredge victim, that victim decided they didn't want to be sacrificed. They took up the knife and attacked the priest with it. Despite being taken down by the weapons of the guards, the intended vicitim struck a lucky blow and killed the High Priest by piercing him through the heart with Daggeredge and dedicating the death to their rival god. It was deemed overly blashpemous to continue using Daggeredge for the sacrifices and a new dagger was forged for that purpose. Daggeredge was removed from where it lay by the funeral clergy of the High Priest, who were only asked to make the body clean for reception by the diety, and buried on the surface world by one who dared. Least Ritual: Assisinate the Assassin - You must killed an NPC who is a threat to your safety, they must be at least two levels higher than you and must either have made direct threats to your life or be currently attemtpting to fight you with Ranged or Melee weapons.

Actions that tend to affect alignment, incorporating the Paladin‘s Code of Conduct (DC0 Knowledge (Religion)):

Torture may have any alignment depending on the motivation, however the most common motivation means it is usually a Lawful Evil act. It is against the Paladin’s code of conduct to allow torture.

The use of poisons that deal ability damage is a non-good act, and is most frequently Neutral Evil, The use of poisons that don’t is generally True Neutral. Both are against the paladin’s code of conduct, but he can allow others to use non-ability damage poisons in his presence. Allowing people to spike drinks with alcohol is also against the Code of Conduct for this reason, The consumption of Alcohol in their presence should only be permitted when the imbiber knows about the side effects (especially those over and above drunkenness).

Paladins may not permit the slaughtering of the young of creatures if they can be (or do not need to be) redeemed, where practical they should also attempt to redeem adults (unless they already are) - but need not try this with extra-planar evil entities (creatures with the Outsider type and the Evil subtype).

Some thoughts and balance suggestions on the feats section of the first post. I skimmed the other ones as well. Cool / amusing that you listed a lot of the major dishes for every season. Nice little detail that I may have to swipe.

Avatar Brew Potion
- Why is it called Avatar?
- Its rather powerful to be able to gain the effects of 15th level spells at the level you could cast them at. The power difference doesn't work the same way it did at level 1 since the range of abilities is so much greater.
- Since epic is infinite progression, it seems silly to cap at 15th, there should just be a chain of these, or a feat that says, brew potions of Max Spell Level - X

Crescentblade Heir
- Really powerful.
- Way out of whack with similar abilities like Weapon Focus. In fact, in all ways its better than weapon focus.
- Fighters would almost always choose this clan and start your game with a +3 from feats right off.
- Out of balance with the other "Heir" feats as well.

Daggeredge Heir
- Again, really powerful.
- Compare to Greater Resiliency. You have to already have DR and you only gain a +1.

Darkblight Heir
- OK at early levels, but rolls off in power pretty fast compared to even the lesser "heir" feats pretty quickly.
- Probably the weakest feat listed except for maybe the Mass Brew feats depending on how you interpret the rules.

Epic Brew Potion
- See comments for Avatar Brew Potion

Grubfoot Heir
- Out of power balance with some of the other "heir" feats.
- Basically just a free +2 Dex for these characters, as they're mostly going to be Dex-centric characters anyhow. And will probably have weapon finesse.

Blackwind / Ironmaster Heir
- Seems silly to have two feats that do basically the same thing, especially when that thing is very rarely used in games.

Mass Brew (X) Feats
- Seems like something of a gray area about whether this is actually needed or not. It could be argued that if you had the spells, there really wouldn't be anything to say you can't just mix a bigger vat of the same potion.
- Further, does this require you to spend 50 spells to brew the potions, which is probably beyond the reach of a lot of characters, or do they get 50 potions for one casting of a spell?

Nutkin Heir
- The Slight of Hand mixed with Cleric seems somewhat strange.

Terraspin Heir
- Fairly strong, definitely better than any of the skill bonus ones, as the luck domain power by itself is worth a feat. So this is effectively three feats in one.

And since you didn't have the table for Brew Potion Prices that goes that high:

SLevel Clr, Wiz, Drd Sorc

Thankyou, having read your post I'll look forward to any more comments you may be wanting to make.

Good point about the cap, maybe I should have adapted . The idea behind this one is for spells altered by multiple metamagic.

I've been thinking about adding Greater Weapon Specialisation in as a prequisite or breaking it down into it's constitutant feats.

Daggeredge Heir
- Again, really powerful.
- Compare to Greater Resiliency. You have to already have DR and you only gain a +1.

I'm not familiar with Greater Resiliency, where can it be found? As Daggeredge are mainly Drow I should have written it as "Your DR becomes" not "You gain DR"

Darkblight Heir
- OK at early levels, but rolls off in power pretty fast compared to even the lesser "heir" feats pretty quickly.
- Probably the weakest feat listed except for maybe the Mass Brew feats depending on how you interpret the rules.

Maybe make it scale with level? Say 1/day per 3?

Epic Brew Potion
- See comments for Avatar Brew Potion

Grubfoot Heir
- Out of power balance with some of the other "heir" feats.
- Basically just a free +2 Dex for these characters, as they're mostly going to be Dex-centric characters anyhow. And will probably have weapon finesse.

Actually, Cha tends to be useful for the characters it's aimed at, but it is indeed intended as basically double racial stat modifiers.

Blackwind / Ironmaster Heir
- Seems silly to have two feats that do basically the same thing, especially when that thing is very rarely used in games.

Maybe so, but they are different enough they can't be combined into one feat - The first is for Chaotic Elves and grants an Anarchic bonus, whilst the second is for Evil Dwarves and grants a Profane bonus.

The idea behind this one is to basically drop the time it takes to brew 50 potions from 50 days to the time it takes to cast that many spells (will double check rules later)

Nutkin Heir
- The Slight of Hand mixed with Cleric seems somewhat strange.

This feats aimed at Halfling Clerics of Olidamra, NPC versions of which tend to be Cleric/Rouges.

Terraspin Heir
- Fairly strong, definitely better than any of the skill bonus ones, as the luck domain power by itself is worth a feat. So this is effectively three feats in one.

So again thinking of splitting it down (Class Levels in one feat and Luck Domain power as a stacking feat).

Extended Time Stop in a bottle is typical of the things the Epic/Avatar feats are intended for, as you suggest I might need to making it pricer.

I like the re-writes on most of the skills.

On Clan Skill and Clan Priest, you might consider giving them a +4, as the feat is basically Skill Focus, but with heavier pre-requisites and less freedom of choice.

On Clan Spell, one thing that you might want to watch out for with Spell-Like Abilities is that if I remember right, some of the other feats that interact with them have fairly light pre-requisites (Ex: You must have a spell-like ability). So you might end up with people having things like Quicken Spell-Like ability with some of the more dangerous of these. I'd have to go back and look at the feats again to make sure of that though.

Also, Level - X is a rather fast power curve for the spells. I would suggest instead doing a regular progression of power like Classes and PrC's tend to. IE: Every X levels gain 1/(whatever timeframe) castings.

In regards to the Scimitar chain of feats, one thing you might want to mention is that they shouldn't stack with the standard versions of Weapon Specialization / Focus. IE: "this feat is identical in function to X and does not stack with X" Just to keep out those sneaky people who get Ranger 4 / Fighter 4.

I'm torn as to whether you should be able to get Terraspin fortune multiple times. Being able to reroll rolls is a fairly powerful ability in truth. Being able to do it three or more times per day could be pretty mean, but then again, they are trading off in power. However, for a few classes like Fighter, it might be worth the trade to them if they've completed a chain of feats.

I can't remember, do the Gith have uses of Psionic powers or do they have psi-points. If they have points, you might just want to give them a couple extra points. That way would increase their utility too.nvm: They have use / day even in the expanded psionics.

I like the rework of the race. I think its a more appropriate way to handle the change.

Given skills aren't actually written down yet I'll read that as Feats.

On Clan Skill and Clan Priest, you might consider giving them a +4, as the feat is basically Skill Focus, but with heavier pre-requisites and less freedom of choice.

Good idea, I'll edit it in to the final version unless I get further comments.

The interacting things tend to come from books I'm not using such as the Complete Seris. At the moment using Players Handbook, Expanded Psionics Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual I, Races of ... Series, Magic of Incarnum, Tome of Magic and Eberron Campaign Setting (Races Only) - although to make this more wide ranging I think simply noting that they can't qualify for those with this feat is probably best (but they can apply them to these if they meet the prequisite some other way).

Although I agree that Level-X is overpowered - especially for Dictum which is a 7th level spell. So here is a list of spells by level:

0th: Prestidigitation (Larsson, Nutkin)
1st: Bless (Thorinson), Cure Light Wounds (Seacole), Focusing Chant (Burns), Mage Armor (Attila, Elgarson), Magic Weapon (Crescentblade, McBrain, Sun), Truestike (Terraspin)
2nd: Darkness (Darkblight), Desecrate (Ironmaster), Fox's Cunning (Grubfoot), Locate Object (de la Ophelia)
3rd: Remove Disease (Blackwind)
7th: Dictum (Antblood)

Mechanical part to read (as an inital thought) Level/Day for Spells of 0 or 1st Level, Half Level/Day for Second Level, Twice Level/Week for Remove Disease and Level/Month for Dictum

Yes, that does need to be in there - although it isn't as you note.

I'm torn as to whether you should be able to get Terraspin fortune multiple times. Being able to reroll rolls is a fairly powerful ability in truth. Being able to do it three or more times per day could be pretty mean, but then again, they are trading off in power. This should have been a Clan Feat - and I'm thinking it needs more playtesting before I rule it out, I don't use Complete Scoundrel but understand that feats from there mean the same thing.

I can't remember, do the Gith have uses of Psionic powers or do they have psi-points. If they have points, you might just want to give them a couple extra points. That way would increase their utility too.nvm: They have use / day even in the expanded psionics.

I think the feat implied probably needs requirements changed to "Natural Psionic Powers" and a name change to Gith Heir

I like the rework of the race. I think its a more appropriate way to handle the change.

To be honest I'm not sure why I didn't think of it before.

I might suggest doing the time cutaway on any of the gaps that's more than one or two invasions, as its hard to pick out the other things that happened in amongst the invasion markers. In fact, it might almost be better to say that demons regularly invade every 700 years and leave on years with 18's at the end and then only remark on things that happen outside that context. Such as Antblood's birth, the mistake and correction invasions, ect....

Also, did Hextor just set the world in motion and say, "ok, if you can invade it successfully 100 times I'll get rid of the world" or is there something else going on behind the scenes? As is, it almost seems like timecard punching for the demons.

"Hey Joe"
"Hey Bob"
"Nother invasion of Hextor's world?"
"Yup"
"K, see you in 18 years Joe"
"Later Bob, say hi to Katie for me"

Oh yeah, and why is the dragon scheduled to be unmasked? Is it just something you've planned and are noting, or does it have something to do with the world? Speaking of which, looking through on a quick scan, I didn't see an entry for the green dragon. What feat is it that is going to be lost and why does this one particular dragon stand out so much when there are apparently other dragons?

Apart from them being Devils, but that's pretty accurate.

Mainly because this one is claiming to have climbed the highest peak in a particular mountain range unaided, but witnesses only saw him at the bottom and top so he could have flown - and rather than a Feat it is this achievement of note he will no longer be credited with.

This setting uses the default Great Wheel Cosmology.

It uses the Core deities, the Races of ... Deities, Odin from the Norse pantheon and two "new" deities Mangrus and Mordarin - although Hextor is promoted to Uberdeity.

Mangrus is a Chaotic Neutral Gnomish Lesser Deity of Disease and Pestilleance, his titles include the Diseasebringer and the Plaugebringer. His Clergy are known as Plaugebearers. His symbol is a red oval representing a mark of pox

Mangrus can be treated as a Gnome Cleric 40/Wizard 40

Mordarin is a Lawful Neutral Dwarven Greater Deity of Law and Justice, his titles include The Lawmaker and The Judge. His clergy are known as Justisces. His symbol is an ash gavel.

Mordarin can be treated as a Dwarf Cleric 40/Aristocrat 30 if the PCs ever come into contact with him

I've already grandfathered in the Earlier Edition download that's basically a load of maps with plot hooks (and used those as a starting point for geography).

I'm thinking of "grandfathering" some stuff in, most notably the Fungicable sidekick and Fungicable Cloak (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=11965408&postcount=11) as they are.

I'm also considering the following:

Barkeeps and Blacksmiths Feat Tree
http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php%3Fp%3D10025118%26postcount% 3D58

Lucky Personality Feat Tree
http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=9920376#post9920376

You'll notice the three links above go to various entries to Drunk DM competitions - but there one's I think would work well with only minor renaming in the setting I've developed on first reading.

In all cases the solstice/equinox falls on the first of the month it is located above.

In both the Odin Count and the Binder Year system each month has 40 days, in the system common to the Anno Hextor and Second Chance the number of days is that indicated in brakets ().

The Odin count intentionally uses the real world names of the months, but the year starts in December.

In all cases the year starts on the Winter Solstice.
