Saltmarsh-like ready town material? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-09-07, 08:18 PM I think the town of Saltmarsh was in DMGII, but are there other ready-made towns with as much detail as Saltmarsh in any of the DD books? I really liked Saltmarsh but I can't use it in my upcoming campaign as some of the players have played it in an another campaign. (Does not need to be strictly WotC material). Thanks!

11-09-07, 08:44 PM The only two I can think of off the top of my head are Waterdeep: City of Splendors (http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/3f/waterdeep.htm), and Sharn: City of Towers (http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/eb/sharn.htm)...both those books are devoted entirely to those cities...aside from that, several adventures and source books do brief overviews of cities, though nothing like what they get into with Saltmarsh.

11-10-07, 09:10 AM Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil (available on PDF from DriveThruRPG) has Hommlet. Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk has the Free City of Greyhawk.

Green Ronin published Freeport, too, and Eberron's City of Stormreach is coming out in February.
