hey I drew up a map for my world and i have 2 main continents, i have the eastern hemisphere done which contains the larger of the 2 continents plus several large island countries.

Just thought i'd show them off and get some opinions on them :)

The equatorial line is slightly above center, where the desert regions are, the southern polar region is permanently frozen in arctic temperatures and the northern regions are fairly cold as well but have a regular winter/summer cycle.

(quick map key, dark green is heavy forest, light green is grassland/prairies, yellow is desert, brown is rocky barren hills foothills and cliffs or coastal cliffs, blue and white is permanent snow and ice, grey is mountains, tan speckled with brown is tundra, black is marsh or swampland)

for the first map i am just curious if it looks fairly.... natural i guess is the best word. Does it look beleivable like the land might have actually developed that way?

second map is just the main continent broken up with the borders of the various kingdoms.
the 3 northern regions are different elven factions, the 3 central kingdoms are human led, Stenhemm mountains contain the various Dwarven clans and kingdoms, Boskag is a lawless region with many pirate towns and places where criminals of all races head to escape the law of other countries. The two tundra regions contain a few barbarian tribes, a few outcast dwarf tribes, and lots of monsters such as giants and goblins and fun stuff like that.
