Essentially, this is a post apocalyptic world, but the Apocalypse happened an unrealistically long time ago. It's set on a very old world, and somewhere around 5,000,000 years ago, the handful of gods and the entire race of giants went to war against each other. Somewhere around 500,000 years ago, the war finally came to and end, resulting in the destruction of nearly the entire world. The only creatures that exist today are Humanoids, Fey, Animals, Plants, Magical Beasts, and Elementals. Around 60,000 years ago, the High Fey court was established. The Fey pretty much keep to themselves and attempt to cultivate the world back to a reasonably homeostatic level. 2,000 years ago, the Kingdom of Fraust is established by Fraust Wyvernjack, the first Human kingdom to exist since the end of the God and Giant Wars. 1,000 years ago Iriestina Greensleeves the Merciless was crowned Grand Magistra of the High Fey court. About 50 years ago, Sháendithas Wyvernjack the Wondrous (Male Human Paladin) was crowned King of Fraust and 23 years later his son, Ianaver was born. Ianaver went through his Paladin training, but has secretly shifted alignment and has traded his Pally levels for Blackguard. he is currently plotting to assassinate his father and seize control of the kingdom. Long chunk, sorry. Anyhow, All of the gods that once existed are dead. Any class (aside from paladin, as I see them as warriors more dedicated to an ideal than a god) whose flavor text states that they are granted their powers by a god are disallowed, so no clerics or favored souls, etc. Druids are common. tantric 07-18-07, 01:54 PM	I have a nonDnD world which treats the Fey in a naturalistic way: outside of the elves, the "littlepeople" are expressions of insects, arthropods and amphibians.
