| Cariyaga07-04-07, 10:05 PM | And I'm creating a campaign for 2 people. Trust me, it would be harder if I included the other two people. *shudder* Anyway, I don't have a DMG, I'll be memorising the SRD, and my friend will bring his DMG, so yeah. It'll be a 44 point buy to make up for there only being 2 people. I think I may give them max ranks in hide and move silently. Maybe not. It'll start like this; They're in the middle of a battle between two warring kingdoms. There are about 40 people on their side, and 50 on the other. They either make the difference between victory and defeat, or they run like the sissies they are. Anyway, they'll be fighting about 10 people, with help from allies. It's like a mini-battle. What do you think so far? |
| Raygenh07-05-07, 01:08 AM | 44 point buy!? Are you nuts? Your PCs will be butchering anything you throw at them. You`ll have fighters with Int as high as your average wizard. Dude, trust me, no character needs that many points. It`s more fun if the PCs aren`t invincible from level 1. |
| Cariyaga07-05-07, 02:10 AM | Er...There will only be two PCs. What would you recommend for two PCs? I'm not doing Gestalt. |

| claypigeons07-05-07, 03:52 AM | Gestalt and, say 36 point buy, to cover the MAD-ness that Gestalting does? Gestalt isn't there to pick two random classes and toss them together. You only run into MAD characters when players get careless/foolish. A smart player will choose two classes with complimentary abilities and similar needs. (So Monk//Sorc would be stupid. But Wizard//Archivist is quite viable.) |
