...Does this seem like a mistake to anyone else? The one spell every necromancer should have to bolster his undead a bit, isn't on their list?

Worse, it isn't a necromancy spell, so they can't take it with Advanced Learning.

House rule it...it certainly sounds reasonable.

Use Extra Spell or Arcane Disciple to get it if you like. I agree it should be there, but it's no immense loss.

On a side note I just shudder to think about marching along with the undead troops and throwing out Mass Harm a few times.

Eh, just pick up Leadership and find a Bard with the "Singing to the Undead" feat. Nuttin like a horde of shadows with morale bonuses.

Or take leadership(you've got alot of CHA at least) and get a True Necro cohort. Use their desecrate ability. Then take undead leadership- and get a zombie cleric, have him cast the spell also.
Otherwise, I agree, that's strange it was left out.
