| Orcmonk8912-29-06, 11:54 AM | Hi I'm hoping to advance my character to a Master Specialist sometime in his career, but was curious about his spellbook. The Complete Mage says you gain "new spells per day and an increase in caster levels (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had gained a level in the wizard class. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained." Does this mean that I get to add the standard 2 spells to my spellbook, or not? Chris |

| Puca12-29-06, 12:00 PM | The ruling on this can be found in the 3.0 FAQ. In addition, if you look at the description of the bonus spell in the same Master Specialist PrC description, it reads something like, "This is in addition to the 2 spells you normally get for advancing a level." |
