But no, a 5' swindle is simply designed to represent a little bit of legroom to make things work a bit nicer for everyone. Not something that your size or base speed affect and provide advantages for.

"If you're much larger than Medium, should you be able to make a 10' step?"

After all, if you're colossal, 5' is far less significant than if you're Fine.

10-06-06, 11:43 PM It's mostly for balance reasons, imagine always being able to make full attacks while your foes can only make 1 attack against you each round...:eek:

I don't believe it has. OA definitely hasn't although there was a dragon magazine with 3.5 updates but I don't think the skill use is mentioned. The rule may have been published in another 3.5 book but I don't think it has been.
