Three things:

1) The word 'fix' implies that there is something wrong with the Wizard to begin with. What would that be? The Wizard is one of the best balanced classes in the game.

2) From what I can tell (the table is a little hard to read), this idea gimps the sorcerer badly. One of the Sorcerer's strengths is Spells per Day. This Wizard almost matches the Sorcerer in that department.

3) From what I can tell, and correct me if I'm wrong, it looks like the Wizard would gain spells from his Domain a level early. So a first level Wizard would have access to a 2nd level spell right off the bat?

You are kidding, right? look at the poor sorcerers in your campaign.
Level 3 sorcerer says: yes, I just learned a second level 1 spell.
Level 3 wizard: (smirk) I just learned 2 level 3 spells. But I think, just for fun, in my level 3 slot, I'll prepare your new level 1 spell, empowered.
Level 3 sorcerer's player: wah, mommy, big brother's making fun of me again. (Really nothing else a sorcerer can do when there's a wizard around).

A smart sorcerer, after first meeting a wizard, quickly multi-classes. With this wizard, a wizard X/Sorcerer 1 is more powerful than a sorcerer X+1. And with primary casters, that's sad.
