| Adonis1x2303-25-08, 12:10 AM | I am starting my first wizard and am having some Confusion. Lets say a wizard started off with an Int of 18. How many first level spells would he get? A wizard begins play with a spellbook containing all 0-level wizard spells plus three 1st-level spells of your choice. For each point of Intelligence bonus the wizard has, the spellbook holds one additional 1st-level spell of your choice. That is from the SRD, but in the PHB it says to look at the table to determine bonus spells at first level. According to the table I get 1 extra, but I have a +4 for have an 18. So I am confused and would appreciate clarification. |
