Grod_The_Giant 05-19-06, 08:04 PM	Q1: If you start with a character proficiant with some kind of weapon or armor, like a bard, and add a class that isn't proficiant with any,is the character still proficiant? Q2: If you have 2 classes, say level 2 cleric/level 1 fighter, do you have to have however many experience points to level up the main class to level up the second, or can you level up the second class with just 1,000 exp (in this case)?
Sledged 05-19-06, 08:56 PM	1) Yes, you keep proficiencies. 2) XP needed to gain a level (in any class) is determined by the total number of levels you have in you various classes. So a ftr 1/rog 1/sor 1 has the same XP as a bard 3, and needs just as much XP to gain a level (regardless of in what class the level is).
