1. what's the frequency for using invocation ? who many can function simultaneously ? what are the rules of (de)activating them ?

2. which feats are relevant specifically for the warlock's abilities ?

Thanks in advance for any enlightening information.

You can use an invocation at will, as many times a day as you want. Some of them you dismiss and some you can't, all depends on what effects and spells they emulate. You can have as many different ones in effect at the same time, but usually not the same one (Dark one's Own Luck, for example).

As for feats, all the Spell like ability feats are good, as well as ability focus. The sudden metamagic feats work too, though I think the spell like ability feats that do the same thing, such as quicken spell like ability and maximze spell like ability work better.

sudden metamagic does not work because a warlock does not "cast" spells.

other than that, yes what ZZ said.

Though you can overlap buff invocations a bunch of times so that a single dispel magic has very minimal chance of removing your buffs. (For example, invoke Leaps and Bounds about 20 times after you get up in the morning, that way a dispel magic has to succeed 20 times against it to remove it.)

I believe that CA specifically says that the sudden feats are allowed.
Probably not your best bet most of the time as the MM ones are often better.

I also recommend things to help you deal with SR: Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration both work. Arcane Mastery is good too.

Weapon feats like Point Blank Shot/Precise Shot are good choices for Warlocks who plan on doing a lot of blasting, which many do.
