Bodatoda 06-22-04, 03:37 PM	The 3.5 PHB states that a raven familiar may speak 1 language of the master's choice. The table on the next page indicates that a familiar cannot communicate (other than empathically) with its master, and then with animals of its own type until the master reaches a certain level. The question then, is are raven familairs special in that they may communicate verbally from day one with any creature who speaks the language chosen for it by its master? Thanks.
