so, i'm building a 7th level druid for an upcoming game. i'm going to focus on wildshape/melee. the rest of the party includes 2 paladins, arcane archer, rogue and a cleric (healing/protection domains).

if i recall, i get 19K GP to start at 7th level. i can't afford armor w/the 'wilding' enhancement, so other than a periapt/wisdom, what should i spend my money on? droods don't seem to need much...rod of metamagic/extend for the occasional spell? wands of cure X?

dragon hide armor? or shadow silk if using light.
some nice useful things for companion, or not having one? Basic ring of prot/ bracers of armor.

Well, since you seem to be planning on Wildshaping a lot, why not just go Vow of Poverty? >_>

Also, you may want to look into a monk's belt. It's slightly cheaper than the Wild Armor (13k vs 16k+) and gives you your Wisdom bonus to AC, and that Wisdom bonus should be a +4-5.

if your dm rules that you can't use items while wildshaped, buy wilding clasps for each one of your items. They only cost 4000, and they allow you to keep any item you want in any form you take.
