98th lvl warlock gets all but 4 invocations [Archive] - Wizards Community

If a warlock, starting at 6th lvl, takes "extra invocation" every 3 lvls until 18th, and then every three levels starting at 23rd, I think the warlock gets access to all the least, lesser and greater invocations by 98th level.

Unfortunately, there is not yet a way to get more than 3 dark invocations, although an epic feat to allow that could easily be written up.

Just one of those ideas going around in my head... :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Though I suppose having a 50d6 or so Eldritch Blast might be of some consolation. Of course, most casters probably have that "permanent immunity to all spells of 9th level or lower" epic spell up by then.

03-04-05, 09:53 PM Even then, the 'epic spell' version of a warlock power is making their blast essence super charged, not only making it above and beyond 9th level, but probably leaving behind something horribly insidious.

03-04-05, 10:47 PM Nothing is stopping the Warlock from making an epic Invocation, it just means a feat may need to be made, or else you'll have to use the Imbue Items thingamajig in place of it. There is epic progression listed in the Complete Arcane, after all.
