An Expert (NPC class from the DMG) gets a certain number of skills as class skills, which I'll have to look up later.

How are the Craft, Profession, and Knowledge skills handled for experts?

Does an Expert smith use three of these class skill slots to take Craft- Weaponsmithing, Craft- Armorsmithing, and Craft- Blacksmithing, or just one slot for Craft.

How about Profession?

Knowledge?

I'm particularly concerned about Knowldege. Some PC classes, like Wizard and Bard can take all Knowledge skills, but some, like Clerics, Druids, and Rangers specifically get one or two but not all.

An expert gets 6 sp a level with 10 skill choices all Taken individually as examples:

Craft Carpentry -1
Craft Glass Blowing -2
Profession Scribe -2
Profession Sailor-1
Knowlege Local - 3
Knowledge Religion-2

Hope that helps

Some, but just to clarify:
This character with six skills from the Craft, Profession, and Knowledge areas has used up six of his ten class skill choices rather than three.
