| too old too play07-24-05, 02:12 AM | Hi folks, Regarding the Quivering Palm attack, the PHB says that a Monk must "announce her intent before making her attack roll." I understand that the game would not be served by PC Monks rolling successful hit rolls then casualy mentioning, "Oh, by the way, that was a Quivering Palm." What about the NPC Monk? To whom do they "announce" their intentions? My thinking here is that the NPC, as a function of being run by the GM, announces nothing. As always, I appreciate the thoughtful comments. Thanks in advance for your take on this issue. Mike |
