If so, then read the description under that ability: "...she may make one extra attack in a round at her highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a -2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round." So, to answer you question...yes, you would add the BAB you gain from your fighter level to your flurry of blows attack, but remember, you gain no other benefit of the monk class if you take another class, and you can never again raise your monk level.
GouSan 09-26-04, 09:32 AM	Depends... If you are playing 3,5 may be yes, not sure. If you are playing 3,0, the answer is no. That multiclass note that malykoth said is true only for core monks, but if you are playing Forgotten Realms, Oriental Adventures or other campaign setting, you have to read the monk description to that world. Does the progression of increased attacks depend on the monk level or character level? If you make an 6lvl monk/1lv cleric/5lv sacred fist will he continue to gain the increased number of attacks? In the "complete divine" it says to consider the levels of both the monk and the sacred fist for the unarmed strike progression.

I admit that I don't have a 3.0 edition book handy, but unless they changed it in 3.5, then you are indeed refering to flurry of blows! So, to answer your question...your monk/cleric/sacred fist would (I believe) have the following "flurry of blows" BAB (not counting attribute bonuses of course): +7/+7/+2. Not using flurry of blows, the BAB would be +9/+4. Can anyone check my math?

In 3.0e, you have a choice of using either the multiclassed BAB or the monk's UBAB for unarmed attacks. Either-or, you can still apply Flurry of Blows to your choice of attack bonus. In 3.5e, they removed UBAB and revised the Flurry of Blows to give more attack(s) at reduced attack penalty. (Penalty removed at higher level).
