jejyman 01-10-06, 12:37 PM	So a friend and i recently ran into some problems, and we need some solutions. Here they are: I built a gestalt character, A Goliath Scout 19 // Bard 10 / Dervish 10, and I took the spell from races of stone Harmonize, Greater, my skills included Perform (sing) 23 ranks, and preform (dance) 23 ranks, and we wanted to know if with the spell harmonize going could I sing two songs at the same time, and if so with the dervish ability to sing and dance at the same time could I sing both songs and dervish dance? Also, Lets say you have a character that is Monk 10 / fighter 10 // Rogue 20 and you took Ascetic Rogue, what would happen?

Just because you're wielding a larger than usual weapon doesn't mean you threaten/can attack a larger than usual area.

No. Monkey grip specifically states that it allows the wielder to use a weapon up to one size larger than their creature size, not one size larger than they could wield. Also, weapon size doesn't modify reach. Also, Ascetic Rogue allows your levels of monk to stack with your levels of rogue to determine sneak attack damage. I don't believe this applies to Gestalt builds, mainly because you are gaining the same ability from two classes...

Seeker of Undeath 01-10-06, 07:12 PM	Did you notice that you're not fully accounting for your +1 LA? You have 19.5 levels on that sucker. I think you mean Scout19//Bard9/Dervish10.
jejyman 01-11-06, 12:57 AM	the way we played it a +1 LA allowed you to take it off of only one side but the question still remains about Harmonize.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but if you are dissregarding rules people will be less likely to help. Personally, if you are bypassing some rules, why not house-rule in or out the others as you see fit. I also don't see how you've got 23 ranks in any skill LA doesn't increase max ranks.

Ok, sorry, let me refrase my question: I have a character that can cast greater harmonize, can sing bardic music, and dervish dance. Now if I where to cast Greater Harmonize could I sing two songs at the same time using just my Perform (Sing) skill, if so could I Dervish Dance while sining 2 songs?
