I don't know if a thread like this is out there, but since the search is all funky, this'll just have to do.

I want to make a blind character. I'm not sure which class or if there exists a class for a blind-seer type of thing. If you have any ideas as to anything to help out, such as mechaincs, possible bonuses and little things to tweak.

Please and thank you all for your help and efforts!

In the Ravenloft Dungeon Master's Guide, they include a new NPC class called Prophet. It's pretty well done, gets up to 6th level spells, and gets prophecy as a special ability. Might want to take a look, if you can get a hold of a copy.

I would look into a psychic class or the scout if you want to be blind but gain other detection modes, sythesate power and the blindsense and blindsight of a high level scout work well for blind characters.

I don't mean to steal your thread but it seems on topic and I didn't want to spam. Anyway, is there such a thing as a blind martial artist class? Like in Rurouni Kenshin the guy with the shell and the spear staff, he uses eye of the heart. He's blind be he hears everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, and he's extrememly skilled in the martial arts. I was wondering if I could make a character like him, because that would be cool.

There's the Grimlock from MM. It's got blindsense and stuff and is LA+0, IIRC.

I built a blind Archer a while ago. Major fun :)
