A change to Drunken Master [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-17-07, 06:52 AM Ok, i want to make it so that the Drunken Master can use flurry of blows with the improvised weapons. I was thinking of dropping Corkscrew Rush and adding the ability to flurry with the improb weapons at say, Lv.5 with an additonal -2 penalty to hit. Would this be fair? and if not what shoud i do?

PS: I know that theres already a PrC that can use fluffy with weapons, but i can't get it.

09-17-07, 06:20 PM I think the old DM had flurry progression and more, and given the overall overpoweredness of monks, I say go ahead and don't worry. If you can actually get some extra books (Unapproachable East, for example) just go into Shou disciple first - it will eventually allow you to flurry with any melee weapon, which IMO would apply with improvised weapons as well.
